NDIS Jobs Roadshows under the NTSSS project aim to Grow the NDIS Workforce at the following Queensland locations though 2020 and 2021.
Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan / Redlands, Mackay, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Far North Queensland, Gold Coast, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Far North Queensland and Rockhampton.
NDIS Jobs Roadshows are recruitment events that showcase careers in disability and which aim to connect job seekers with employers.
The Department of Social Services estimates that by 2050, Australia will need the services of around one million care and support workers – and 83,000 NDIS workers alone.
This includes 36,000 new workers for the Queensland disability sector
Roadshows offer solutions to building the local workforce by partnering with local Community Service employers who have current vacancies in the NDIS workforce, in addition to the local Job Actives, Registered Training Organisation (RTO), universities and local community.

As part of the Roadshow journey job seekers go through the following process below to help facilitate matches with employers:
1.Registration
Job seekers register online for the event.
2. Pre-screening
Before the event Job Seekers complete a disability Education Toolkit to build an understanding about the NDIS Jobs Roadshows, the NDIS and the Industry, what personal skills and attributes are required for a role in disability.
3. Roadshow attendance
4. Speed Interviews
Two days after Roadshow job seekers and employers may have a short one-on-one interview online about the person and the job.
