This report has been developed to enable WorkAbility Queensland and the Department of Employment Small Business and Training (DESBT) to make recommendations regarding potential changes to the structure and content of the CHC Community Services Training Package. This is the training package to which the majority of the qualifications and skill sets commonly used in the disability sector belong.
The findings presented in this report are based upon consultations with more than 280 representatives of the disability sector across the state. The findings and recommendations have also been validated by the 35 members of the NTSSS Industry Reference Group and NTSSS RTO Reference Group.
