Want to become a qualified Support Worker and work with older people and people with disabilities?

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is hosting a Community Information Day on Thursday 7 October in partnership with WorkAbility Qld and Educare Training Institute Australia .

Come along and have a yarn about how you can obtain qualifications to work in the Disability and Ageing Sector, and what it means to provide person-centred support.

Where: Morayfield Clinic – Respite Room, 10 Walker Road, Morayfield

What the Certificate III Individual Support training involves:

  • Three days a week face to face training (9.30am – 2.30pm)
  • Written assessments, group activities and activities with local community, trainer support
  • 120hrs Vocational Placement in community and residential settings (Influenza and COVID Vaccinations required prior to placement)
  • Blue/Yellow card – NDIS worker screening clearance
  • National police check
