This report provides a foundation for the remainder of the project by outlining the current situation for training and development of the NDIS direct service delivery workforce in Queensland, and identifying issues for further exploration.
The issues outlined in this report are based on analysis of training data provided by the Department of Education, Small Business and Trade, Workforce Wizard data from National Disability Services, service providers and participant data from NDIA, and a brief literature review.
These findings have also informed the lines of inquiry for a series of consultations and a survey.
