An online Compliance Learning Program is being developed as a new Industry resource to build greater NDIS provider capability in promoting quality, safety and participant choice.
Workability commenced this project in February, in partnership with Projects for Purpose, to help tackle NDIS emerging workforce development priorities.
The non-accredited learning program will be Industry co-designed and aims to improve future compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safety Framework.
Information for the program content will be consolidated and linked to information that already exists such as the NDIS Quality and Safety Framework and will be available free online for community organisations to access.
The initiative is one of several projects under Phase Two of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Training and Skills Support Strategy (NTSSS) Project, a two-year project funded by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT).
The second phase of the project features strong regional engagement, co-designing solutions for the workforce and skills development priorities as an industry-led multi-faceted approach in building a quality NDIS workforce across the State.
