Six months after it sold out seemingly overnight, the limited edition Stanley tumbler is back on shelves.
Starbucks’ fans eagerly await the rollout of the chain’s infamous red holiday coffee cups every single year, cheering when new holiday merchandise is released to stores. But diehard coffee aficionados were unable to contain themselves on social media earlier this week when they realized Starbucks has launched a new exclusive Stanley tumbler in a rare holiday hue.
To our delight, Starbucks has brought back the Internet-breaking 40-oz Stanley Adventure Quencher Tumbler that first debuted in May 2023. While it was first released in a Barbiecore pink, the collectible merchandise has been Christmas-fied and has been released in an eye-catching cherry red metallic finish. According to social media accounts, these new cups landed in stores on Tuesday, November 2, alongside the release of annual holiday designs on Starbucks’ disposable cups.
Starbucks officials, as well as representatives at Stanley, haven’t released any official information about this merchandise drop just yet, which leaves many speculating about where and when they will be available.
What we do know is that these once-in-a-lifetime designs are being sold for $49.95 — and many social media users have spotted these tumblers in Starbucks’ retail locations, meaning the cafés located within Target, supermarkets like Safeway and Kroger, and in airports, hospitals and more.
While it’s unclear if Starbucks plans to release this new cup in its standalone cafés, it may be worth a trip to your nearest location. Starbucks did confirm that its newest line of holiday merchandise, which includes multiple new Venti-sized (24oz) tumblers in brilliant jeweled designs, was released to stores this week — so if you don’t find a Stanley tumbler, there’s a good chance you’ll find Starbucks’ new Christmas 2023 collection instead.
