NDIS Workforce Research Reports for Brisbane North, Brisbane South, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Mackay and Townsville are available now!

The research project is in partnership with WorkAbility Queensland and Jobs Queensland and has been led by Central Queensland University (CQU),  CSIRO’s Data61, and Global Community Resourcing.

Research conducted in 2019 aims to investigate the skills shortage, impacts and themes within disability workforce following the NDIS rollout across six different regions.

Each report captures the first set of key findings, data analysis and presents case studies conducted with NDIS service providers, sole providers, plans managers and self-managed participants.

Potential local solutions and findings from locally-held forums also address gaps and opportunities around future training, skills and employment.

A comprehensive State-wide Report will be released in coming months concluding the research project.
