WorkAbility Qld and TAFE Queensland are partnering again to deliver a second NDIS Principles and VET Practitioners Leadership Program in February.
The initiative is continuing following the overwhelming success of its launch program last year.
Expressions of interest are welcome now to vocational practitioners and teachers across Queensland who deliver qualifications relevant to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The NDIS Principles and VET Practitioner’s Leadership Programs will be delivered via Zoom across six two-hour sessions from February to April.
During the sessions teachers gain contemporary information from expert presenters to support the learning of students entering the community services industry, particularly in relation to the NDIS.
The NDIS Principles and VET Practitioner’s Leadership Programs deliver current information to support the NDIS capability framework (and specifically, the role and activities of the Quality and Safeguard Commission and allied work) to VET Teachers/Practitioners to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of VET teachers and in turn of students studying to work in the Community Services Sector.
Each session includes specialist guest speakers, including people with lived experience.
