TAFE Queensland and Queensland Government are offering isolearn courses designed for individuals who are looking to gain a new skill or for a career change.

Also available are Skill Sets for people impacted by COVID-19 and Financial Resilience Webinars for small and medium businesses.

Micro-credentials
These free courses called micro-credentials are short targeted courses that can assist with adding a new skill to your resume or give you an opportunity to try something completely different.

These are delivered online and take around an hour to complete with a digital badge issued on completion.

• Communication Technologies for Business Success
• Digital Data Essentials
• Data Security Essentials
• Data Analysis Essentials

Skill Sets
For those who have been impacted by COVID-19 or are job seekers free skill sets are also available.

Skill sets can build on your existing skills or provide opportunities to train in a new area and are made up of one or more industry recognised competencies.

Skill sets on offer include Community Care, Mental Health Peer Work, Customer Engagement, Mentoring and Supervision, Mediation Assistance, Health Service Support, Food Service and Transport Driving.

Financial Resilience Webinars
For small and medium businesses – TAFE Queensland have partnered with Department of Employment Small Business and Training (DESBT) to deliver a series of Financial Resilience Webinars to support then through the impact of COVID-19.

These are free to eligible businesses and focus on financial cash flow management and business planning providing practical tools and opportunities to connect with other small businesses.
