Draft 2 of the new proposed qualifications for the Aged Care and Disability sectors will be released for public consultation on 14 July.

The reviews are being led by the Direct Client Care and Support Industry Reference Committee (IRC) in collaboration with the Disability Support IRC and the Aged Services IRC.

Consultations invite people withing the Community Services Industry to come together and provide feedback on the following

  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Certificate IV in Disability

These qualifications underpin a large part of the Aged Care and Disability workforce and Industry input forms an important part of the training qualification development process.

Draft 2 is the final round of scheduled public consultations, and the final opportunity for service providers and RTOs to provide feedback.
