Workshops: Changes to the Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) grants program
Information Linkages and Capacity (ILC) grants play an important role in the NDIS: they enable more people with disability to be meaningfully included in all aspects of life. This, in turn, will mean greater opportunities for businesses, with the NDIS promising to be the biggest driver of social and economic change across all industries in Australia.
As part of the Inclusion Ready Project, National Disability Services (NDS), in partnership with Community Services Industry Alliance (CSIA), is offering free workshops across Queensland between March and July.
These workshops will help organisations and businesses to understand how the National Disability Insurance Agency’s (NDIA) Information, Linkages, and Capacity Building Grants (ILC) can help them become more inclusive of people with disability. A new national ILC strategy has just been announced, with big changes coming to the Grants program. This workshop will include information and insight into the NDIA’s new strategy and the planned roll-out of grants in 2019.
Events are coming up in Toowoomba, Moreton Bay, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Mount Isa, Townsville, Mackay, Cairns, Atherton, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Gladstone and Rockhampton – you can register for those as dates are confirmed by visiting the NDS events page.
