The South West Queensland NDIS Workforce Action Plan is a strategy of WorkAbility Qld and has been developed by the South West Queensland WorkAbility Qld working group in consultation with key stakeholders across the region.
The NDIS implementation in the region is likely to generate the need for at least an additional 900 FTE workers when fully implemented. This plan aims to support the region in growing and skilling both the existing and future NDIS workforces to meet the needs of people with a disability across the region.
