Queensland NDIS Industry Briefing: Rollout Data and Trends
The Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors hosted the second Queensland NDIS Industry Briefing, via a live web broadcast.
The briefing provided an update on rollout data and key trends for the NDIS in Queensland as at Quarter 3 in the second year of transition. This is important information for service providers and businesses as we approach the final year of the NDIS transition in Queensland, where up to 60,000 people with disability could access the scheme.
The briefing provided insight on:
Participant transition rates – statewide and regional view of numbers of participants entering the scheme against estimates.
Participant demographics – statewide and regional view of the profile of new participants and existing clients entering the scheme, including age and primary disability.
Plan data – types of supports included in plans, plan funding levels, length of time for plan implementation, plan utilisation and plan management.
Providers and market – number of registered providers and active providers, providers by registration group, number of providers per participant.
