NDIS Workforce Research Forums – Mackay and Townsville

When it comes to success in the NDIS, workforce planning is critical. Understanding what is happening and will happen in your region will help secure your organisation’s future.

Join us at these essential forums to connect with Industry and workforce stakeholders, hear the latest research on the NDIS in your region, and learn strategies to solve your workforce problems.

This session explores the WorkAbility Queensland research project, investigating the workforce demands, and the skills and training needs arising from the implementation of the NDIS across the state.

This is the first research project of its kind, focussed on the unprecedented growth the NDIS is bringing to your region.

Hear from experts about jobs growth, emerging roles, workforce demand and supply, and skills and training needs related to the NDIS workforce. The research takes a deep dive into six NDIS regions: Townsville, Mackay, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Brisbane North and Brisbane South.

These forums will present findings from the Mackay and Townsville research reports respectively and explore practical solutions to local workforce needs.

You should attend if you are an NDIS providers, self-managed NDIS participant, worker or sole traders, training and education provider or part of a regional and economic development agency, or otherwise have an an interest in the economic and workforce impacts of the NDIS in the Mackay and Townsville regions.
