The Workforce Wizard quarterly data entry period for July to September 2017 opened on Monday 16 October 2017 and closes Friday 27 October 2017.
With over 35,000 workers represented, Workforce Wizard is the largest disability dataset available nationally. Workforce Wizard allows Queensland contributors to benchmark their workforce data at a regional, state and national level. Benchmark reports have been identified by organisations as being a great tool for both their workforce planning and reporting to their boards around workforce.

The spotlight topic for this quarter is the type of industrial instrument. Industrial instruments such as awards and enterprise agreements set wages and working conditions for a defined group of employees. Traditionally, many disability organisations have undertaken enterprise bargaining, but this may be changing in the new market environment. The information collected will help the sector to track this.
New this quarter – Users can now choose from two types of access to Workforce Wizard. You can be either a:
- Custodian – you will be responsible for entering your workforce data every quarter and deciding who has access to your organisational benchmark reports; or an
- Observer – you can view the benchmark reports of your organisations based on the data entered by your organisational administration.
